It’s finally here. After months of taunting #crossiscoming hashtags floating around social media and a couple of August teaser races, the official start to the season has arrived. And with it, a sudden change in the weather. The summer heat has faded and as if on cue, the rain and cooler temperatures arrived in sync with the cross season.
Lots of action going on this weekend with the VCXC opener and two chances to race in the interior. It’s time to tune up the cross bike (you did clean it after last season, right?) and get ready to race!
Ft Langley Classic
VCXC is back at Aldor Acres for their season opener on Sunday. The venue may be familiar but the course has undergone some new changes for this year. Gone are the long gravel straights of years past, replaces by some more time in the trees. Def looks like it’s going to be a fun one. Pre-reg closes tonight at midnight so get over there and sign up. Or better yet, just buy a seasons pass cause you know you are going to race every one of these awesome events.
